Art in the Afternoon | Printmaking Plus I | Grades 3-5

This fall Emily McKenna will be teaching a series of youth classes that use science, technology, engineering and mathematics to create bigger, better, and more exciting art projects! As well as building on critical thinking skills, these classes will show students how knowledge from different areas can be put together to make beautiful art! We will learn about color and texture through interesting science experiments such as slime making, structural strength in constructed forms with engineering such as mask making, and repetition and measurement with math in activities like pattern creation in printmaking.

A limited number of scholarships are available; bus transportation from Thomasville and Thomas County schools is available.
